Grumpy Girl.

Well. Saturday night I went to the nearest grocery store, "Dirty Dillons", to pick up some fresh ginger and maalox to try to help me keep some food/water/meds down for once. I am still struggling with food and have lost 30 pounds since the beginning of May. I am happy that I have lost my second chin, but not too thrilled that I have lost a cup size in my bra. Seriously, I think I've become a B CUP!!!

Anyway, I hit the checkout lane with my stuff, including a cold 20 oz bottle of diet Sierra Mist for the ride home. The 12 year old working the register couldn't figure out the code for "Ginger" (4612), so I told her what it was...(I always look when I am buying only a few items in case I decide to hit the self-checkout lane, then I am prepared. don't laugh. I hate the grocery store.) The girl who was bagging my groceries caught my Sierra Mist as it rolled down the counter toward her, and handed it to me, asking "Do you want this out?" SHE obviously knew that I planned to drink it right away. I looked at both of them, looked at the Sierra Mist, and said... "Did you just roll that bottle all the way down the counter?" The 12 year old smirked and said, "Yeah."
So I put my reciept and change in my purse, moved it from the checkstand, and opened the Sierra Mist right there on the counter. Oh yeah... it sprayed everywhere. The bagger looked embarrassed and said "Oh, you can go get yourself another one." I just smiled and said "That's okay... I just didn't want a mess in my car." And I went home and threw up.

This is akin to my reasoning behind looking as mean as possible when I go to shitty places like the grocery store.

I hate it when I have to deal with people.

Damn, that is a great story. Good for you for opening the bottle there - I would've just fumed and stomped out and then forgotten why I was mad and opened the damn thing in my car anyway!

Sometimes, you just gotta put your foot down - or let your spew out!
