Well, the trip wasn't bad getting up here. We made it in about 8.5 hours. Before I left, Jamie gave me several gifts, one of which was the pink kitty seen on the dash... we used the stickers to bling up our cell phones. Don't they look cute?
I was excited to see the Ames sign. Yippee... it says Ames!
The temp dropped a lot today, so I got out my big leather coat that I haven't worn since probably St. Lukes? or KU Med. Anyway, I found the original troll in it. I've been looking for it. He must have gone with me to my last surgery.
I got a ride to an AA meeting within 30 minutes of arriving at our hotel. I really wanted a drink.
So it was cool to see the Rochester Alano club and meet some local people. And they smoke in there! Just what I need. I have rides set up for the rest of the week, hope I am heading home by the weekend.

More after tomorrows adventures. I have to be at my appointment in Gastroenterology and Hepati some other ology at "Mayo 18" whatever that means. This should be interesting. Ginger will be scooting on her rascal, and I'll be toddling along behind. Hope I have cute docs.

happy halloween! congrats on making it to an out-of-town meeting!!! hopefully now you will always have the confidence to go while traveling (not that we were ever worried about your shyness) and have people to lean on when you're there. awesome.
