My friend CiCi who lives in Leavenworth had someone cover up her Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker with a "Proud to be an American" sticker. She recently drove to Lawrence and stocked up on stickers like, "Another American for peace" and "Jesus was a pacifict" Good thing she has a Lawrence near by.

Once I went out on the town with her in Leavenworth and I swear that people wanted to kill me just because I am who I am.el.dudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04968580642919181774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9225434.post-1112815664005129352005-04-06T14:27:00.000-05:002005-04-06T14:27:00.000-05:00I don't know where to begin...I'm just glad to liv...I don't know where to begin...I'm just glad to live in this particular county, at least. Sheesh.

I guess we can't expect a state that denies evolution to accept homosexuality, can we? This is exactly why I rarely leave Lawrence. What's the point (unless you are heading to another state)? It's scary out there, very very scary.Rikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13402010882812904615noreply@blogger.com
